Assignment Details
- Position: Travel RN First Assistant (RNFA)
- Specialty: Operating Room
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Rotating Days
- Schedule: 5×8 Hours
- Shift Times: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, or 10:00 AM–6:30 PM
- Call: Minimum 2 nights/week + Every 3rd weekend
Requirements:
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of RNFA experience
- 3 years of scrub & circulate experience in an acute care hospital
- Experience in primary spine, orthopedic, and robotic surgery required
- Epic experience required
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Completion of an approved RNFA didactic course
Required Certifications
- RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
- CNOR
- Professional Liability Insurance
Preferred
- PALS
Additional Information
- Rotating weekday schedule
- Call required (2 nights weekly & every 3rd weekend)
- Annual surgeon competency review required
- Experience with insurance documentation required
