The position supports postoperative cardiac patients, general medical patients, and other specialty areas, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes through compassionate and skilled care.
Job Details
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Float (MS FLOAT)
Location: Joplin, Missouri
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: BLS, NRP certifications; 2+ years of experience; associate degree or higher in nursing; Missouri nursing license; successful completion of background check and compliance with health requirements.
Preferred Qualifications: Telemetry experience, excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills; familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system.
Responsibilities: Providing patient-centered care to post cardiac surgery, cardiac, and general medical patients; acting as Charge Nurse if needed; floating as required across the unit.
Additional Information: Must act as float as needed, this is non-negotiable; acts as Charge RN if one is unavailable.
