Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Float Nurse position located at a large academic healthcare facility. The role involves providing patient care across various medical surgical units, requiring flexibility to float between units as needed. The assignment duration begins on 10/19/2026 and concludes on 12/27/2026, with a schedule of dayshift hours.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting, competency testing within 24 hours of submission, and an up-to-date email address for communication
  • Preferred Qualifications: Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience, at least 2 years of clinical experience without pass/fail testing requirements
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: The position requires Epic electronic health record system proficiency. Scrub colors and dress code must adhere to facility policy. Parking arrangements should be confirmed locally.
