Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)
The Float Pool Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in providing patient care across multiple Med/Surg Tele areas within a healthcare setting. This position requires flexibility to float between various units while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
The Float Pool Registered Nurse will work in various Med/Surg Tele areas, providing care across units that include Davenport 5, Davenport 7, Davenport 8, Davenport 9, Emergency Department, PH6/7, Pingree 4, and Overflow.
Registered nurses in this role will manage a clinician-to-patient ratio of up to 5:1 during day and evening shifts and up to 6:1 during night shifts.
The facility operates with a total of 371 beds, with units containing between 8 and 41 beds.
This position involves rotating between day/evening and night shifts, with a possibility of 1 to 3 rotations to nights during the contract period.
The electronic medical record (EMR) system used for charting is EPIC.
