Noor Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Float ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Centennial, Colorado.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• No on-call or standby requirement
• Must float within Zone 1 facilities based around Colorado Springs, CO within a 60-mile radius
• Schedules are released 4-6 weeks in advance and follow one of two formats: scheduled at a single facility for the week with possible floating within that facility, or Just-In-Time (JIT) where facility is assigned 1-2 hours before shift start
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4-5 based on acuity
• Treat 40-168 patients per day depending on location
• Common diagnoses include abdominal pain, diabetes, NSTEMI, pneumonia, trauma, stroke, and hypertension
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry independently as no monitor technicians are on staff
• Will be trained and perform Point of Care lab testing
• Administer standard ER medications and drips
• Respiratory therapy available 24/7
• Charge nurse takes patient assignments
• Techs available to support unit secretary work, assist nurses on the floor, and assist in triage
• 2-3 days of unit/department specific orientation provided
• Charting system: EPIC
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NIHSS, TNCC
Facility:
This floating zone assignment covers multiple acute care facilities within a 60-mile radius of Colorado Springs, CO. The facilities include a mix of Trauma Level 3 and Level 4 designations, with the majority being STEMI and Stroke receiving centers. Each location features emergency departments treating a wide range of patients with varying daily volumes, supported by respiratory therapy available around the clock and technical staff assisting nursing teams.
