Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position available in Mayfield, Kentucky. This role involves providing specialized obstetric and neonatal care within a dedicated Labor and Delivery unit. The position starts on August 10, 2026, and offers a schedule that includes night shifts, with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week minimum.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in Kentucky, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support), HWC (Hospital-Wide Certification or equivalent), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). At least 1 year of experience in labor and delivery, charge nurse experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in obstetrics and neonatal care, charge nurse experience, and obstetric or neonatal certifications.
- Additional Information: Unit comprises 8 beds with patient ratios per AWHONN standards. Must be able to work in a professional manner, adhering to facility dress code which allows any scrub color, and attend weekly orientation sessions.
