## Travel Flex Pool Registered Nurse (Med-Surg / Step Down) – Hilo, Hawaii

**Start Date:** August 24, 2026
**Contract Length:** 13 Weeks
**Schedule:** 3x12 Night Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 Hours/Week After Orientation *(Hours not guaranteed)*

### Requirements
✔ Active Hawaii RN License *(or apply immediately upon offer; license required before start)*
✔ Minimum *3 years of Med-Surg/Step-Down experience**
✔ Current BLS Certification (Required)
✔ ACLS Preferred
✔ PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and Procedural Sedation certifications are a plus
✔ Experience with Meditech or similar EMR preferred
### Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality nursing care across multiple Medical-Surgical and Step-Down units.
* Float between Medical, Surgical (Laulima), and Cardiovascular units as needed.
* Assess, monitor, and manage adult patients with varying acuity levels.
* Administer medications and treatments while maintaining accurate documentation.
* Utilize equipment including wound vacs, chest tubes, Pyxis, and electronic charting systems.
* Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
* Maintain patient safety while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
