Travel Nurse RN - Float PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,088 per week

Medlivo is seeking a travel nurse RN Float PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

Requirements:
-Active VA RN license or any compact state license
-AHA BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
-1–2 years recent PCU/Progressive Care experience
-Strong neuro assessment skills
-Strong cardiac monitoring/telemetry experience
-Must independently read and interpret telemetry strips
-Experience with Cardizem, Amiodarone & Heparin drips
-EPIC experience required
-Must meet required ECG/Telemetry competency
-Comfortable caring for PCU/Telemetry and Med-Surg patients
-Experience with CPAP and high-flow oxygen
-Must be comfortable recognizing and escalating rhythm/clinical changes
-Prior travel experience preferred
-Must be flexible and willing to be first to float
-Must be comfortable floating to PCU, Telemetry, Med-Surg, Medical, Surgical/Orthopedic and other appropriate inpatient units
-Night shift: 7 PM–7 AM
-Minimum 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
-1 major + 1 minor holiday required
-No call
