Job Summary:
Urology registered nurse (RN) in a medical surgical setting specializing in renal care, located at a healthcare facility. This position involves delivering patient-centered care, assessing and evaluating patient needs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans. Critical thinking and effective communication with patients and caregivers are essential components of this role.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (VARIABLE); minimum of 37.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: - Two (2) years of Urology experience - One (1) year of traveler experience - BSN degree - NYS RN License - BLS certification
• Preferred Qualifications: - Epic experience
• Additional Information: - Delivers patient care, assesses and evaluates patient needs, and applies critical thinking. - Collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare team in development, implementation, and evaluation of care. - Educates patients and caregivers. - Communicates effectively and professionally with patients. - Prioritizes all aspects of patient care. - Escalates potential safety hazards or gaps. - Utilizes institutional information technology by documenting nursing practice to support quality and performance improvement initiatives. - This role is on a medical surgical urology/renal floor, with a focus on renal patient care.
