Registered Nurse (RN) - GI Lab

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our GI Lab team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Operating Room (OR) and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), as our facility is smaller and requires nurses who are competent in both areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the GI Lab environment.
• Assist in various procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Participate in on-call duties, typically 4-5 days per month, varying based on need.
• Float to other facilities as required.
• Utilize medication systems, including Pyxis and Omnicell.

Schedule

• Rotating shifts:
  • 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Weekend shifts: One weekend shift every other month, varying based on need.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
• EPIC experience is required (minimum of 1 year).
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Active RN license.
• Candidates must have prior experience and are not accepting first-time travelers at this time.
