Description
RN - Short Stay

This is a pre and post op unit. Rn would be admitting recovery patients and in the GI area admitting and discharging GI patients. They will not be floating to another unit and there is no PACU care involved. Will be managing patients after PACU recovery phase.

Requirements
Day Shift - 4, 9 hour shifts starting at 0600 or 0800 depending on the need

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred

Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Facility Specific License/Certifications:

AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required

Department Specific License/Certifications:

AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required

AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS or Pediatric Advanced Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS): Required
