Travel Nurse RN - Home Health - $2,194 per week in Burlington, NC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year Hospice experience depending on the specialty. License: Must have license in hand. No exceptions. Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Recent specialty experience. Proficient in OASIS and HomeCare HomeBase EMR, used within the last 6 months or willing to complete retraining course during compliance. Willing to travel up to 75 miles from assigned care center. Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. Description: Provides, coordinates, and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician orders based on agency policies and procedures. Utilizes the competent application of the nursing process. Responsible to Clinical Manager. Directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Conducts home visits and attends periodic office meetings. Average number of patients per day: 5-10. Home Health checklist required. Must accept every patient on the schedule regardless of distance from the previous appointment. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the patient appointment. Delayed or incomplete documentation that impacts billing and follow-up patient care may result in cancellation. No guaranteed hours with this contract. Clinician must meet weekly productivity expectations of 30 points which equates to approximately 40 hours per week. If not receiving enough patients weekly, there is an opportunity to float to another nearby clinic to pick up patients. The job involves travel to patients' homes daily. The mileage radius for the position may result in drives longer than 20 minutes between patients. Local candidates accepted at the same rate. First-timers are not accepted; recent specialty experience is required.
