TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Home Health RN in New Lenox, Illinois, 60451!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Home Health experience required, strong Medical Surgical experience considered License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: Active BLS or willingness to obtain required Must-Have: Active nursing license COVID and FLU vaccination status required without exceptions Valid driver’s license and car insurance required Description: Prescribes, coordinates, and delivers care through the nursing process. Maintains the standards of professional nursing. Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants and coordinates care with other health care workers as assigned. Provides comprehensive initial assessments to all clients. Continuously assesses physical, psychosocial, environmental, and community resources available. Utilizes principles of growth and development over the lifespan. Initiates Plan of Care and re-evaluates the need for care, modifying as needed. Establishes discharge plans with patients, physicians, other disciplines, and caregivers. Completes OASIS data. Provides patient care using current federal, state, and agency regulations. Assesses educational needs of patients, families, and caregivers, implementing appropriate teaching strategies. Completes documentation according to regulatory guidelines. Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing error prevention habits. Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in all matters involving patients and coworkers.
