This role is based in Meridian, MS, and involves providing care primarily in a community or small facility setting. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Home Health - Travel- Observe, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing support for individuals in the community.
- Work with healthcare professionals to address health needs and evaluate care programs.
- Coordinate communication and actions regarding health and safety support.
- Manage medication processes including ordering, monitoring, and disposal as prescribed by the physician.
- Document health status and progress in nursing notes.
- Direct and supervise activities of licensed practical/vocational nurses.
- Schedule and complete health-related appointments and follow through on findings.
- Provide training on health and safety topics to staff.
Requirements of the RN - Home Health - Travel- MS License (Accepted compact license)
- Experience in Home Health care, HCHB, OASIS
