Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Home Health- Observe, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing support for individuals in community settings.
- Work closely with other health professionals to plan and evaluate health programs and services.
- Coordinate communication and actions across various disciplines for health and safety support.
- Manage medications as prescribed, ensuring policies for medication administration are followed.
- Report progress to physicians when there are changes in the client's condition.
- Complete necessary nursing documents and maintain health status documentation.
- Supervise licensed practical/vocational nurses and ensure health-related appointments are managed.
- Provide training for new employees and ensure unlicensed staff are informed on health maintenance.
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Home Health- WV RN/Compact license
- Proficient in OASIS and HCHB
- Experience with IVs, lab sticks, wound vacs, and med surg skills
