Travel Nurse RN - Home Health - $2,222 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year of Hospice Experience License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase and OASIS Description: Provides coordination and direction for home nursing care. Care is provided according to physician’s orders and agency policies and procedures. Competent application of the nursing process is required. Direct supervision and evaluation of Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Home visits and periodic office meetings are part of the job. Reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance are necessary. Average number of patients per day is 5-8. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 productivity points. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits. Recent specialty experience is required; no first-timers accepted. Weekend requirements vary by location and profession. On-call requirements vary; to be discussed during the interview. Travel may be required up to 75 miles from the home clinic. Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. No pending licenses will be accepted; candidates must have a license in hand. Travelers must have recent experience in Home Health or Hospice. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of patient visits. No guaranteed hours with this contract. All documentation impacting billing and follow-up patient care must be timely and complete.
