Travel Nurse RN - Home Health - $2,286 per week in Hinesville, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year of Hospice Experience License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR and BLS required Must-Have: Proficiency in OASIS and HomeCare HomeBase within the last 6 months Description: Provides, coordinates, and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician's orders based on agency policies and procedures. Utilizes the competent application of the nursing process. Responsible to the Clinical Manager. Directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Home visits are required along with periodic office meetings. Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. Daily, the provider will visit an average of 5 to 10 patients. Each type of visit and activity (documentation, travel, etc.) will hold a different point value. Contractors will be compensated from patient home to patient home. The commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits. Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase and OASIS is required for documentation purposes. Consultant must be comfortable with potential longer drives between patients. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of each appointment. The consultant must accept every patient on their schedule regardless of distance. No guaranteed hours are provided with this contract. Weekly productivity expectation is set at 30 points. Opportunity exists to float to nearby locations if patient census is low. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. All applicants must be open to on-call rotations.
