Home Health Registered NurseProfession: Registered NurseSpecialty: Home HealthDuration: 13 weeksShift: DayHours per Shift: 8 hoursExperience: 2+ years of Home Health experience requiredLicense: Active Virginia State or Compact RN/LPN license requiredCertifications: BLS requiredMust-Have: Proficient in nursing assessment and OASIS data collection required.Description:Home Health Registered Nurse position available.Local candidates residing within 100 miles are accepted but are limited to one assignment without eligibility for extension.Candidates residing less than 50 miles away will have a reduced bill rate.Shift hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.Charting experience with EPIC and OASIS assessment is required.Responsibilities will include nursing assessments, admission assessments, case management, discharge, recertification, transfers, and standard visits for adult home health and home infusion.Competence in peripheral IVs, central lines, ports, and phlebotomy is necessary.Experience in respiratory care, including chest tubes, nebulizers, and oxygen administration is needed.GI, GU, and medication administration skills are also required.Daily patient volume averages 6 visits and may include rural areas within a 25-mile radius.Floating to other offices may be necessary based on operational needs.The client provides personalized care to patients of all ages, including wound care, IV therapy, respiratory care, chronic disease management, and Alzheimer's and dementia care.Candidates must work at least 1 holiday per 13-week assignment.All requests for time off must be included during the submission process.
