Description: This position is for a 13-week assignment in home health nursing. Shifts are 5 days a week, 8 hours per day from 08:00 to 17:00. No call or weekends are required unless assistance is offered. The role involves providing care to adult patients in their homes. Responsibilities include admission assessments, medication management, and care for medical devices. Knowledge of OASIS documentation is essential. Candidates need to demonstrate skills in phlebotomy, wound care, and patient education. Attention to patient safety and compliance is critical. The ability to coordinate services and manage discharge planning is necessary. Adherence to infection control precautions is mandatory. Candidates should be capable of performing vital sign assessments and managing intravenous infusions. Experience with patients requiring palliative care and symptom management is beneficial.
