Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Home Health

Assessing and implementing care plans for health maintenance and disease prevention
Supervising care plans and staff as per assignment
Observing, assessing, and evaluating nursing support for individuals
Coordinating communications related to health and safety supports
Managing medication orders, storage, and policies
Reporting to physicians and ensuring documentation accuracy
Supervising LPNs and vocational nurses as needed
Providing training for new employees and unlicensed staff

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Home Health

Active NC RN license
Experience in Home care/Hospice, HCHB, OASIS
Ability to conduct 20-25 visits a week
Flexibility to be on call 1-2 nights a week and rotate every 3rd weekend
