Travel Nurse RN - Home Health - $2,582 per week in Newport Beach, CA

Job Title: Clinical Nurse I Profession: RN Specialty: Home Health/Hospice Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8:30 AM to 5 PM Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of acute clinical nursing experience. Clinical home health care experience is required. License: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California. Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to clinical rotation. Must-Have: - Experience in home health care. - Experience in acute clinical nursing. Description: The Clinical Nurse I role provides direct patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act to assigned patients in the Home Health and/or Hospice setting. The nurse collaborates with other disciplines of the health care team to ensure the delivery of safe, timely, and appropriate quality patient care. This includes providing physical assessments, IV therapy, nursing interventions, pain management, medication administration, specimen collection, meeting nutritional needs, and teaching and discharge needs of assigned patients. Utilizes the nursing process based on evidence-based best practices to meet patient care needs. Evaluates and adjusts the nursing care process as necessary with consultation as needed. Confers with appropriate resource personnel when making ethical, legal, or medical dilemma decisions. Performs other duties as assigned.
