Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Day Hours per Shift: 8.5 Experience: 1-3 years of home care experience, 1 year of recent clinical experience License: NY RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Ability to travel and a working vehicle in good condition - Ability to bend and lift, exert up to 125 lbs. force, and perform care on patients Description: Provide home care to patients with a variety of medical diagnoses. Perform wound care and manage wound vacs. Administer PleurX drains and conduct dressing changes. Provide PICC line care and dressing changes. Manage nephrostomy tubes and perform ostomy care. Conduct blood draws and venipuncture. Manage diabetes and CHF (Congestive Heart Failure). Comfortable practicing independently in various patient homes. Meet productivity requirement of 6 patients per day. Significant manual skills and motor coordination required. Work in generally pleasant working conditions with little occupational risk. Physical effort involves extremely heavy tasks, potentially exerting up to 125 lbs. of force. Travel is required, estimated at 50-75 miles per day, with mileage reimbursement provided. No weekends; holidays as needed. Experience with HCHB application preferred.
