Travel Nurse RN - Home Health - $2,932 per week in Paramus, NJ

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience within the last year License: NJ or Compact License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: COVID-19 vaccination series and booster required, no exemptions Flu vaccination and booster required, no exemptions Experience with HomeCare HomeBase charting system required Interview is required Description: Local candidates are eligible within a 75-mile radius of the home base. Minimal request time off will be considered, up to five days or less. RNs should expect to complete 4-5 home visits during their 8-hour shift. The workload consists of routine visits focusing on patient assessments and care management. Registered Nurses will be involved in a variety of patient care activities such as clinical assessments, wound care, and medication management. Driving is required to fulfill job responsibilities and mileage incurred will be reimbursed according to applicable standards. Candidates must be proficient in areas such as vital signs assessment, infection control precautions, and pain management. The position requires participation in weekend shifts, 1 out of every 6 weekends. Candidates must provide a supervisory or manager reference dated within one year of the assignment start date. Failure to complete pre-employment requirements in a timely manner may result in assignment cancellation. RNs must successfully pass a Basic Arrhythmia Exam with a minimum passing score of 80%. Candidates are expected to manage their time effectively to avoid exceeding their assigned shift hours. Candidates should possess experience and skills in adult home health care, including but not limited to managing various medical devices and administering treatments as necessary.
