The nurse intervenes to promote, maintain, or restore health, prevent illness, and effect rehabilitation. This role requires collaboration with other healthcare providers and community representatives to coordinate home care. The nurse evaluates individuals and families' responses to interventions. Independent action and judgment are essential, along with the ability to manage time effectively. Strong communication, planning, delegating, and problem-solving skills are necessary for providing care. The role involves maintaining emotional stability in emergency situations. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to supervise others while maintaining confidential information. Developing and maintaining records and communicating clinical data in verbal and written form is required.
