Travel Nurse RN - Hospice - $2,205 per week in Kansas City, MO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Hospice Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year of Hospice experience License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: - Proficiency in OASIS and HomeCare HomeBase - Ability to travel up to 75 miles from home clinic Description: Provides and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician's orders. Care is based on agency policies and procedures through the competent application of the nursing process. Responsible for clinical management and supervision of Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses. Home visits are required, along with periodic office meetings. Candidates must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance. The average number of patients seen per day is 5-8. Travel distances may vary and could require drives longer than 20 minutes between patients. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of patient visits. Expectations include accepting every patient on the schedule regardless of travel distance. No guaranteed hours are associated with this role. Weekly productivity points are expected to be met. Candidates should be open to on-call responsibilities and rotating weekends as needed. Experience in hospice and home health is essential. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. All travel compliance requirements must be satisfied.
