Travel Nurse RN - Hospice - $2,287 per week in Augusta, ME

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Hospice Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year of Hospice experience. License: Must have a valid nursing license in hand. Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Proficiency in OASIS and HomeCare HomeBase EMR within the last 6 months. Must be comfortable traveling up to 75 miles from the assigned care center. Description: Coordinates and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician's orders. Uses agency policies and procedures through the competent application of the nursing process. Responsible for supervising and evaluating Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses. Conducts home visits and attends periodic office meetings. Must have reliable transportation and current driver's license, along with required liability insurance. Average patient load is between 5 to 10 patients per day. Each type of visit and activity holds a different point value, totaling 30 points per week. Expected to complete documentation within 24 hours of the appointment. On-call responsibilities may vary by location and profession. Must be willing to cover specific geographic areas and travel as needed. All travelers must accept assignments regardless of patient location, as patient needs may vary. Documentation must be accurate and timely to ensure proper patient care and billing. There are no guaranteed hours; must achieve minimum productivity points weekly. First-time candidates in the specialty are not accepted for this role. This position will require attending weekly meetings and consistent communication with the team.
