MedCadre is seeking a travel nurse RN Hospice for a travel nursing job in Portland, Oregon.

Registered Nurse – Hospice

Location: Portland, OR 97213
Start Date: 08/17/2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days, 5x8 Hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

Job Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of skilled Hospice RN experience required
Travel experience required (No first-time travelers)
Active Oregon and Washington RN licenses required
BLS certification required
Home Health/Hospice experience required
Must have reliable personal transportation

Note: Travel experience required (No first-time travelers)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate hospice nursing care in patients' homes
Perform patient assessments and symptom management
Administer medications and manage pain using hospice best practices
Educate and support patients and families through end-of-life care
Complete OASIS documentation and care planning
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, including social services
Provide patient and family education regarding disease progression and comfort care
