MedCadre is seeking a travel nurse RN Hospice for a travel nursing job in Portland, Oregon.

Registered Nurse – Hospice

Location: Portland, OR 97213
Start Date: 08/17/2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days, 5x8 Hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of skilled Hospice RN experience required
  • Travel experience required (No first-time travelers)
  • Active Oregon and Washington RN licenses required
  • BLS certification required
  • Home Health/Hospice experience required
  • Must have reliable personal transportation

Note: Travel experience required (No first-time travelers)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate hospice nursing care in patients' homes
  • Perform patient assessments and symptom management
  • Administer medications and manage pain using hospice best practices
  • Educate and support patients and families through end-of-life care
  • Complete OASIS documentation and care planning
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, including social services
  • Provide patient and family education regarding disease progression and comfort care
