We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to oversee hospital operations during the day shift while ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care across all departments. The RN House Supervisor serves as an administrative and clinical resource for nursing staff, physicians, patients, and families while supporting hospital leadership and maintaining efficient patient flow and staffing operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent clinical judgment, and prior Critical Care experience in an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate daily hospital operations and nursing activities
· Provide leadership and clinical support to nursing and ancillary staff
· Ensure quality patient care and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
· Assist with staffing coordination, patient placement, and resource allocation
· Respond to emergencies, critical situations, and patient care escalations
· Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and interdisciplinary teams
· Serve as the administrative representative for the hospital during assigned shifts
· Support patient satisfaction, safety initiatives, and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications:
· Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
· Minimum recent Critical Care experience REQUIRED
· Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
· Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
Required Certifications:
· BLS (Basic Life Support)
· ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
· PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
(All certifications must be current and issued by the American Heart Association or equivalent accepted provider.)
