Job Summary
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) in the local area. This position involves floating between the Medical Surgical (MS) and ICU units within the facility. The RN will primarily work in the MS unit but will be required to float to the ICU as needed, providing critical patient care across both units.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid active Oregon State license or proof of Oregon license application and fingerprinting. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in ICU or Medical Surgical units, including telemetry experience, and Epic electronic medical record experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Patient Care: Responsible for caring for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics with a daily census of 12-15 patients.
• Census and Unit Details: The unit has 19 rooms and 25 beds, providing intermittent interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services.
• Additional Requirements: Candidates must have an active Oregon license or proof of application, pass a background review with no felony convictions, and provide a professional reference from within the last year. All compliance documentation must be completed and submitted by the Wednesday prior to the start date.
• Start & Facility Requirements: Completion of pre-start modules, skills testing, competencies, and Epic testing or training if needed. No RTO during the first two weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 7 days RTO permitted. Candidates cannot reside within 50 miles of any facility within the system.
• Floating: Float rotation may be required.
• Holidays and Shifts: Willingness to work Thanksgiving and one other holiday, including holiday eves and nights. Required to work every third weekend with low census cancellation terms.
