Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit provides specialized care to critically ill patients, implementing clinical judgment and promoting patient health and safety in a 36-bed ICU.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring and recording vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient care plans.

Requirements:

• Experience with EPIC Charting and 2+ years of strong ICU experience is required.
• Possession of an Illinois RN License, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to float as needed and adaptability to weekend and holiday requirements.
