• Schedule: 3x12-hour nights
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Orientation: 12 hours
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee or a compact multi-state RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
• Previous travel nurse experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• CPI certification required, or ability to complete approved training before start
• Experience with charting systems required
• Strong critical care skills, including ventilator management, dysrhythmia interpretation, and vasoactive drip titration
• Must be comfortable caring for a prisoner population
• Ability to work scheduled holidays as part of the rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, high-quality care to ICU and stepdown patients
• Monitor and manage complex diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, DKA, MI, dialysis-related concerns, and post-surgical recovery
• Perform critical care interventions such as ventilator support, arterial line care, central line management, and blood product administration
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips and vasoactive medications as ordered
• Support bedside procedures and conscious sedation monitoring when needed
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, phlebotomy, and rapid response resources
• Float to other units as needed based on patient acuity and staffing needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all clinical and safety protocols
