Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend required. Patient ratio of 2:1 across all shifts. 13-week assignment with 40 hours of orientation.

Highlights:

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit specializing in critical care for infants, children, and adolescents
• 6-bed unit with daily census of 2-4 patients requiring advanced critical care interventions
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, IV teams, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Experience with advanced procedures including ventilator management, CRRT, chest tubes, procedural sedation, and RSI
• Floating may be required to NICU or units within skill set with orientation provided
• Epic charting system experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of PICU or pediatric critical care experience required
• BLS and PALS certifications required; NRP and CRRT preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Proficiency in pediatric dosage calculations, ventilator care, tracheostomy care, central line management, blood product administration, and wound care
• Experience with high-frequency ventilators, oscillators, CPAP/BiPAP, CVP monitoring, and various IV pump systems
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays during assignment period
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
