Job Summary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Fauquier Healthcare Facility. This position involves providing specialized critical care to adult patients in a fast-paced, community hospital environment. The role requires a team-oriented professional with strong clinical skills to support patient recovery and safety in a 10-bed ICU setting.
Job Details
Required Qualifications: Associates degree; valid RN license; BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications; at least 2 years of critical care nursing experience; experience with Meditech electronic health record system; scheduled night shifts (1845-0715); minimum of 36 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in community hospital settings; proficiency with Baxter pumps, Omnicell, Spacelabs monitoring equipment; strong team player with flexibility and dependability.
Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive adult critical care, monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments, utilize ICU equipment, collaborate with healthcare team, document patient care accurately in Meditech, and adapt to float requirements among MSU, PCU, and Telemetry units as needed.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours weekly.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit current licensure and certifications for review.
