RN – Neuro ICU | Inova Alexandria Hospital

RN – Neuro ICU / 1 opening / 13-week contract / 36 hours/week / 12-hour Night shifts – 7:00 PM–7:00 AM / 2+ years of experience required / Cardiac experience NOT required / BLS & ACLS required / 16-bed Neuro ICU / 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio / Must pass ECG exam on Day 2 – Pass/Fail / Stroke, ICH, SAH, SDH, brain tumors, increased ICP & other critical diagnoses / Titrate drips including Levophed, Epinephrine, Phenylephrine & Dopamine / RNs must read their own strips / Philips monitors / Epic / Float to MSICU, PCCU & boards on the unit / Every other weekend / 1 major + 1 minor holiday required / Navy blue scrubs / No on-call / Inova Alexandria Hospital – Alexandria, VA
