• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: First to float to MSICU, PCCU, and boarders up to four patients
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 - $1,930

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS required
• Experience caring for neuro and cardiovascular critical care patients preferred
• Ability to titrate vasoactive drips and manage high-acuity ICU workflows
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
• Epic experience required
• Must be available to work every other weekend and assigned holidays
• ECG exam required on day 2, pass/fail

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in a 16-bed ICU with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and manage patients with stroke, hemorrhagic events, respiratory failure, sepsis, cardiac conditions, metabolic emergencies, and other complex diagnoses
• Titrate and manage drips such as norepinephrine, epinephrine, vasopressin, phenylephrine, and dopamine as ordered
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, timely, evidence-based critical care
• Operate within a unit equipped with ventilators, HFNC, and BiPAP/CPAP support
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow unit protocols
• Read and respond to telemetry rhythms independently using Phillips monitors
• Support patient care across float areas as needed, including MSICU, PCCU, and boarder patients
• Adhere to unit standards, including navy blue scrubs and required holiday coverage
