Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position located in Sioux City, Iowa. This role involves providing specialized care to cardiac, trauma, and neuro patients as part of an interdisciplinary team. The candidate will be expected to float within the same discipline across local campuses and adhere to the outlined clinical standards and protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Iowa state license, ACLS certification, BLS certification, PALS certification, EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) proficiency, a minimum of 2 years of relevant ICU experience, and at least 1 year of recent experience in critical care.
- Certification Requirements: TNCC preferred, will need if extending.
- Types of Patients: Cardiac, trauma, neuro.
- On-Call: No call required.
- Weekend Schedule: Every third weekend.
- Submission Requirements: At least 2 years of previous experience required, first-time traveler acceptable.
- Additional Information: The orientation schedule includes sessions on June 8-9, June 20-21, July 6-7, July 20-21, August 3-4, August 17-18, August 31-September 1, September 14-15, September 28-29, October 12-13, October 26-27, November 9-10, November 23-24, December 7-8, December 21-22.
