Job Summary:
The organization is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) position located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day. The role involves providing specialized critical care for patients with complex conditions, including sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric disorders.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
  • Schedule: 36 hours per week, with a commitment to every other weekend.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ICU experience with comprehensive assessment skills; at least 2 years of relevant experience; at least 0 years of minimum experience; location in Indianapolis, Indiana.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with care of septic patients, mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices, and Epic electronic medical record system proficiency.
  • Additional Information: Floating to other inpatient units may be required when the home unit has low census. Orientation includes completion of modules on the first day, Epic training if necessary, and one day of orientation in the unit.
