ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team in a dual role within the IMC and ICU units. This position requires a strong clinical background and the ability to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the ICU and IMC settings.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as required.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures, as well as standards of care.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in resuscitation efforts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience required.
• At least one completed travel nursing assignment preferred.
• Strong familiarity with Cerner Electronic Health Record system is required.
• Successful completion of the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.

Work Schedule:

• 3x12 hour shifts, covering both day and night shifts.
• Every other weekend is required, with a total of 6 weekend shifts in a six-week period.
