Job Summary The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse position is based in a healthcare organization within Greenville, NC. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients in a tertiary care facility, utilizing advanced skills within the ICU setting, including neuro-critical care procedures and management of complex respiratory and circulatory conditions.
Job Details
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Certification, experience in a tertiary care facility, and a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include utilizing skills such as NIHSS scoring, lumbar puncture, ventriculostomy, ICP management, arterial line, central line, cranial drains, mechanical ventilation, IV drips (pain, sedation, vasopressors), temperature management, and CRRT.
The nurse will be required to float to areas of equal or lesser care.
Previous travel experience and proficiency with EPIC electronic health records are preferred.
Dress code: Solid black or white uniforms for nurses.
Applicants must be prepared to start on 10/26/2026 and the assignment is scheduled to end on 01/24/2027.
