Job Summary The organization is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in a travel capacity. The position involves providing critical care to patients in a 20-bed ICU setting, with a focus on adult ICU patients. The RN will be responsible for delivering specialized care during night shifts, with scheduled rotations including every other weekend and every other holiday.
Job Details
Position: Travel ICU RN
Schedule: Nights, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with minimum 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); 2 or more years of ICU experience; open heart surgery, Impella, and Cerner electronic medical record experience preferred; RN licensure in the relevant state; minimum of 0 years of experience required
Additional Information: Floating to other units may be required; scrub color is navy; the unit includes a surge plan with a patient ratio of 2:1, up to 3:1 during surge; 48-hour guarantees are not available; blocked scheduling may be considered; maximum RTO of 3 days; EMR: Cerner; reason for opening is vacancy; open start date is 09/28/2026, with an end date of 12/28/2026.
