We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel nursing contract in Boise, Idaho. • Contract Duration: 26 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, weekends as needed, first to float
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or half of weekends
• Floating: May float to other ICU units in the area and occasionally support as a 1:1 sitter outside of ICU
• Charting System: EPIC
• Openings: 3

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong experience titrating critical care drips and managing complex medications
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity intensive care unit environment
• Comfortable caring for a wide range of ICU diagnoses and patient needs
• Ability to adapt to floating, changing assignments, and unit needs
• Experience with EPIC preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition promptly and accurately
• Titrate drips and manage complex medication therapies per protocol
• Collaborate closely with intensivists, charge nurses, respiratory therapy, and support staff
• Document patient care clearly and accurately in EPIC
• Care for a diverse critical care population, including cardiac, neuro, medical, and post-operative patients
• Maintain a calm, professional presence in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Float to other ICU settings as needed to support staffing demands
