Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact license eligible
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience required
• At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience preferred
• Ventilator management and vasopressor titration experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam
• Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and rapid decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients with complex, rapidly changing conditions
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with nursing standards, hospital policies, and best practices
• Manage ventilators, pressor titration, and advanced ICU therapies
• Monitor hemodynamic status and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Support care for patients with septic shock, COPD exacerbations, post-MI recovery, and surgical complications
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and families while serving as a compassionate advocate throughout the care process
• Maintain accurate charting and uphold infection prevention, quality care, and patient safety standards
