Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position involves providing advanced patient care in a high-acuity environment, with a focus on critically ill patients requiring comprehensive assessment and management. The role requires the ability to work nights and collaborate effectively within a dynamic healthcare team.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications, ICU experience, comprehensive assessment skills, experience caring for septic patients, and mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to other inpatient areas when the home unit has low census.
  • Additional Information: Orientation includes modules to be completed on the first day, Epic training if needed, and one day of orientation on the unit. The candidate will report to designated area in the Tower building and must park in authorized employee parking.
