Location: Greensburg, PA 15601
Shift: Night (19:00 - 07:00) - Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
Shift Length: 3*12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks

 

Position Summary:
Registered Nurse with over 2 years of recent ICU experience in an acute care hospital, providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients. Skilled in continuous patient assessment, advanced life support, ventilator management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based critical care. Committed to ensuring patient safety, rapid clinical intervention, and optimal patient outcomes.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Delivered comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including continuous assessment, monitoring, and timely interventions in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Administered medications, IV infusions, blood products, and vasoactive drugs while managing ventilators and other life-support equipment.
  • Monitored hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, and laboratory results, promptly identifying and responding to changes in patient condition.
  • Collaborated with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized critical care plans.
  • Educated patients' families on treatment plans, provided emotional support, maintained accurate clinical documentation, and ensured compliance with patient safety and infection control standards.
