Job Summary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro ICU The healthcare provider is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a specialized Neuro ICU assignment. The role involves direct patient care in a critical care environment, focusing on neuro diagnoses including surgical and medical cases, with an emphasis on supporting unit staffing during the holiday season.
Job Details
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 2+ years of clinical ICU experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, COVID/Flu vaccination or declination, minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience.
Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Schedule: Orientation dates are 10/5, 10/19, 11/2, with assignments starting 10/19/2026 and ending 01/16/2027.
Additional clinical duties include electrocardiogram monitoring, wound management, IV pumps, and oxygen delivery devices, among others.
Prior travel experience is required for all Centra positions, and charge responsibility may be necessary, with appropriate training and pay differential provided.
Candidate must have experience with neuro diagnoses and be familiar with critical care equipment and protocols.
All applicants must have current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, and be vaccinated for COVID and Flu or have declinations on file.
