Critical Care Nurse, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Sheboygan, WI. This position involves providing specialized care in a 11-bed Level IV Trauma Center ICU, with a focus on patient stabilization, ventilator management, and post-cardiac arrest recovery. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality critical care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Sheboygan Critical Care: ICU
• Shift Time: Nights; 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; graduation from an accredited nursing program; WI state RN license; no minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with read/interpret strips, vent management, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, bedside and nursing station telemonitoring; proning experience preferred.
• Additional Support: CNA support (ratio 1:7); charge nurse to manage patient assignments; resource nurse available during weekdays; support staff during days (OT, PT, ST).
• Support on Unit: Performed phlebotomy, support during dayshift M, W, F; support staff during day hours; float to cardiac unit may be required based on unit needs.
• Charting System/Equipment: EPIC electronic health records, Alaris infusion pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing system.
• Orientation: One shift learning flow.
• Scheduling: Weekend rotation every other week.
• Other Notes: Scrub color flexible, professional attire; free parking designated for employees.
