Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342
Unit: 640A – Intensive Care Unit
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week
Local Candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
- AHA BLS & ACLS – Required
- CCRN & NIHSS – Preferred
- Cerner EMR experience
- General Medical-Surgical ICU experience
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a General Medical-Surgical ICU.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and overall condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments.
- Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, and cardiac monitoring.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to clinical deterioration.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Perform thorough assessments and accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR.
