Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position available in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves providing critical care for patients in a high-acuity setting, with responsibilities including reading telemetry strips, managing arrhythmia readings, moderate sedation, and heparin distribution. Candidates must have previous travel experience, at least two years of ICU experience within the past three years, and be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays. The position requires compliance clearance prior to orientation, with a potential for floating within the scope of practice.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, and CPI (or MAB) certifications before the start of the assignment. Must have previous travel experience, ability to interpret telemetry strips, and at least two years of ICU experience within the past three years.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Termination occurs after three call-outs, with no requested time off during holidays. Candidates must be reliable, transparent, and present to work, with possible responsibilities as charge or preceptor as reflected on timesheets. Floating within the scope of practice is required. Orientation dates are set for various RN specialties, including ICU, ED, Med Surg, Tele, NICU, Postpartum, and Labor & Delivery, with compliance clearance needed 10 days prior to orientation.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
