Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position is located in Glendale, Arizona. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced, specialized environment. The nurse will assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or a valid compact RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months, specifically in the intensive care unit or similar environment
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing; professional certification related to critical care, such as CCRN or equivalent
  • Additional Information: This position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently in a clinical environment. Must possess physical agility and reaction time to respond quickly to patient needs. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds may be required. Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and the healthcare team are essential. This role involves working in a direct patient care environment with exposure to blood and bodily fluids, requiring standard precautions.
