Job Summary:
This position is for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse in Glendale, Arizona. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment. The nurse will utilize specialized knowledge, clinical judgment, and nursing skills to deliver safe and effective patient care, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and professional standards.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months; and relevant education, training, or certifications in critical care nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; professional certification in critical care such as CCRN; additional relevant education or experience.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, coordinating multidisciplinary care plans, and supporting patient and family education. The role also involves documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes, as well as participating in quality improvement activities and clinical research initiatives when applicable.
